33. Percussive Technique on Ukulele (Warning: It's Awesome!)

In this ukulele lesson, we will learn the most popular percussive technique: The thumb slap technique.

With the thumb slap technique, we "slap" the string with the left side of the thumb to create a mild percussive sound that adds a lot of rhythm to the chord progression.

This percussive technique can be used on the guitar, ukulele, and bass. It works extremely well on the ukulele because it adds a simple yet effective rhythmic feel.
